What
Did People Say About the 2004
Southwestern
Invitational?

Hi David:
First and foremost, we want to thank you for all your hard
work and intense planning that went into this year’s
competition. We won’t list all the great details because
there are too many. We know that often you only hear complaints/suggestions,
so we want to let you know in this small way that we noticed
the great floor, great judging panel, excellent Professional
Show, great efficiency & time management with the heats,
and total overall attention to detail. The participation awards
are outstanding/best ever and Ralph & I thank you ever
so much.

David, thanks so much
for a great competition. The floor was a total delight, and
the music was perfect. Everything was on time, just beautifully
managed. The pro show was a knock-out: Toni and Michael couldn't
have been
better. Can't wait until next year,
Liz Conklyn

David -- I loved the
understated elegance of the Hilton and the attention to detail
with the menus and food, including the breakfast buffet. A
great new venue. Congratulations.

Hi David!
Just a note to thank you for the wonderful time we had at this
year's Southwestern Invitational! I want to let everyone know
that this is the up and coming comp to attend! Everything was
wonderful from the fantastic floor to the great hotel, ballroom
decorations, music, atmosphere, show, and of course the delightful
organizer and host! For anyone wanting a friendly, downhome
competition to attend with an amazing standard of dance, Southwestern
Invitational is the one for you!
Thanks!

Dear David,
The competition this year was a wonderful
experience. The event was filled and overflowed with an abundance
of external comforts like hotel, flooring, and food service.
In addition to the pleasantries it was an arena filled with
energetic competitors and gobs of helpful assitants. Thanks
for providing the "dance world" with avenues where
passsions can be free to dance.
Respectfully,
Joan C. Ray

"What an absolutely delightful
weekend Richard and I had in Dallas, Texas at David Kloss'
Southwestern Invitational. Although we no longer compete,
we went as spectators, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves-beautiful
hotel, lots of general dancing to wonderful music-much of
it new to our ears (David Innis-great musicman). The dance
floor was gorgeous and huge-40 x 80-wood, but not little squares
with metal strips. Anyway, next year we hope to see you there.
It is definitely a wonderful weekend away, whether you compete
or not." Elizabeth Douglass
